David Fennell A.Mus.A is one of Australia’s finest professional pianists.
Throughout his long career he has been musical director for a number of stage shows including ‘Jacques Brel is Alive and well and living in Paris’, ‘ Hot Shoe Shuffle with David Atkins, Ain’t Misbehavin’ and a number of others.
David was also Musical Director for many cabaret artists including ; Kamahl, Lovelace Watkins, Rolf Harris, John Rowles, Barry Crocker , Julie Anthony and Kate Peters. He has worked in Las Vegas, London, The Opera House Sydney, and all the major venues in Australia.
He was a recording session keyboard player in Sydney for many years recording music for commercials, films, documentaries and c.d.’s  of all genres.

David loves to play modern jazz and he is also a fine composer, with many albums to his credit. He has written much production music which is used all over the world in television and radio productions, and has written and recorded the music for many documentaries.

Musical Services
Live performances:
David is available for piano performances at corporate functions, weddings,  fine restaurants and special events either as a soloist, with a female singer or small group to create the right atmosphere for your evening.
Recording services:
David has a midi studio with the latest Logic software and plug-ins for producing great sounding tracks.

Fennell Media Services cater for a wide range of  recording requirements including cd’s ,theatre productions, backing tracks for singers and school musical productions.
Piano Lessons:
Expert  Jazz and Classical piano tuition in the Bilambil/Tweed Heads/Coolangatta areas.
David will give you a good grounding in piano technique and some theory if necessary and he can teach you to  improvise.  He has taught at the Sydney Conservatorium , Brisbane Conservatorium and Southern Cross Uni in Lismore in the contemporary music faculty.
Students should be over 12 years of age, and would be expected to have had some previous tuition.

Charts written for any line-up of instruments for singers or musicians.
Composition:
Music composed for film, television , cabaret and stage shows.

Currently Servicing Northern NSW, Gold Coast, Brisbane, South East Queensland in person, collaboration is also available worldwide.
